

Terms and Conditions
1. BOOKING YOUR DATE
1.1. To confirm your date, we require a non-refundable booking fee of 30% of your quoted final price.
1.2. We unfortunately cannot hold any event date without this booking fee
1.3. Once your date is booked, we reserve the right to book other events on that date. We will only do so if we have the capacity and will do so without affecting your event designs, delivery or installation in any manner.
1.4. If your event date changes for any reason, please contact us as soon as possible. BristolWeddingFlorist will honour the booking however we will only do so if your new date does not contradict section 1.3 of this document for any other events booked previously on the new date.
2. YOUR EVENT DESIGNS
2.1. BristolWeddingFlorist will supply all the designs specified in your proposal document. Any additional items will incur an extra charge for each item. The proposal will be revised to incorporate any alterations. Any changes must be submitted in writing by the client or the appointed acting party, as previously notified.
2.2. Pricing outlined within your proposal are subject to the seasonality of flowers, the demand of flowers on Dutch auctions and other factors outside the control of BristolWeddingFlorist. Therefore, pricing of designs may differ between events.
2.3. Pricing outlined within your proposal is valid for 4 weeks (28 days) from the send date. BristolWeddingFlorist reserves the right to alter these prices after this period if the deposit has not been paid and therefore the event date has not been confirmed.
2.4. Your proposal is subject to adjustment depending on the availability or quality of flowers, foliage, and plant varieties prior to the wedding date. In cases where the specified variety is unavailable, we will substitute it with the closest alternatives to the original order. Please note that minor variations in colour and size may occur.
2.5. It is the responsibility of the client to confirm all order confirmations and invoices 2 weeks (14 days) prior to the wedding date and communicate any errors to BristolWeddingFlorist.
2.6. Once your flowers are delivered;
2.6.1. Please do not alter our designs in anyway. BristolWeddingFlorist cannot accept liability for any damage resulting from alterations to our designs performed by individuals other than BristolWeddingFlorist florists or associates.
2.6.2. Please keep all flowers in conditions specified by our florists. This may include but is not restricted to; temperature, light conditions and how long they are left in water.
2.6.3. Please never put our flowers in the fridge. This will dramatically reduce their shelf life.
2.7. The responsibility for affixing buttonholes and corsages to clothing lies with the wearer. BristolWeddingFlorist cannot accept liability in the unlikely event of damage to delicate materials, which may result from the use of the pins or fastenings we provide.
2.8. Some of the varieties of flowers/plants can be harmful if ingested. Young children must be supervised when handling any designs supplied by BristolWeddingFlorist by a parent, guardian or appropriate adult.
2.9. Any candles included in our designs are to be lit at the client's own risk and should be communicated and agreed with individual venues prior to the event date
2.10. Our designs/installations are not designed to be transported between venues by anyone other than by BristolWeddingFlorist florists or associates. If clients decide to do so we cannot take responsibility for any damage.
2.11. BristolWeddingFlorist may create samples of your designs during your consultation period.
2.11.1. These samples are owned by BristolWeddingFlorist
2.11.2. BristolWeddingFlorist holds the copyright of all our original designs (as per The Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, The Copyright, Related Rights Regulations 2003 & subsequent revisions thereof). Clients are not permitted to show the designs or photographs of our designs to any competitor or allow them to be copied by any competitor.
3. HIRE ITEMS
3.1. Some items in your proposal may be hired from BristolWeddingFlorist. This could include, but is not restricted to vases, table arrangement stands, tree stumps, tealight holders and candelabras.
3.2. Hire of these items is included/not included in the price of your designs. (e.g. table arrangements)
3.3. Hire items are subject to a deposit of agreed fixed price/per item.
3.4. In the unlikely event that any hire items are lost or broken you will be charged a reasonable amount to replace these items.
3.5. Clients will be notified of any additional charges up to 2 week (14 days) post the event and will be invoiced accordingly.
4. DELIVERY & INSTALLATION
4.1. We will deliver & install all designs outlined in your proposal 2 hour(s) before your event. This is subject to the delivery & installation fee(s) within your proposal.
4.1.1. This maybe to multiple locations which may include but is not restricted to; the location of the bridal party, the location of the ceremony and the location of the reception.
4.1.2. It is the responsibility of the client to communicate all delivery locations and allocations of designs 2 weeks (14 days) prior to the wedding date.
4.1.3. Access to the venues must be organised for 4 hours prior to your event and communicated to BristolWeddingFlorist by the client 2 weeks (14 days) prior to the wedding date.
4.2. We will do everything in our power to deliver and install your flowers as outlined. However, in the unlikely event of an act of God, terrorism, transportation network failure or extreme weather conditions BristolWeddingFlorist cannot be held responsible for lack of delivery.
4.3. Delivery & installation fee(s) may vary between events due to the location, potential parking fee(s) and complexity of installation of your designs.
4.4. If the location of your event changes, we reverse the right to alter the delivery & installation fee(s) within your proposal.
4.5. If you choose not to pay the delivery & installation fee(s) or you decide to collect your flowers from 5 Carlton Court, BS93DF, Bristol, it is the client's responsibility to organise suitable set-up. Any breakages or damage to our designs during this transportation & set-up will be the client’s responsibility once they leave our premises.
5. PAYMENTS
5.1. Payments for your event are kindly accepted as soon as possible.
5.2. Final payments must be completed 4 weeks (28 days) prior to your event.
5.3. If payments are not made within the timeframe outlined in section 5.2, BristolWeddingFlorist reserves the right to cancel your event without notice and without refunding any prior payments.
5.4. Acceptable payment forms are bank transfer, cash or card.
6. CUSTOMER SERVICE
6.1. During the consultation period of your event our team are available during normal BristolWeddingFlorist opening hours via phone, your client login or email. Opening hours can be found on our website.
6.2. Please avoid sending important messages about changes in your designs via social media.
6.3. On the day of your event, we will not contact you unless we are delivering designs directly to you or we have an issue with delivery or installation of your designs which we feel needs your attention. All designs will be installed as outlined in your proposal and sections 4.1 & 4.2 of this document.
6.4. Should you be unhappy with your event designs you must contact BristolWeddingFlorist on 07747 528689 within 1 hour(s) of delivery & installation. We will endeavour to rectify outstanding issues.
6.5. All outstanding issues must be communicated on the day. Any issues reported after this will not be subject to a refund.
7. CANCELATION
7.1. If your event is cancelled for any reason, please contact us as soon as possible. We require confirmation of cancellation in writing.
7.2. Cancelation up to 4 weeks (28 days) prior to your event date is fully refundable except the booking fee outlined in section 1.1 of this document.
7.3. Cancelation within 2 to 4 weeks (14 to 28 days) of your event date is 50% refundable to compensate for any sundries material and employee/freelance work that we have already committed to in good faith of the event going ahead.
7.4. Cancelation within 2 weeks (14 days) of your event date is non-refundable to compensate for all flowers bought, sundries materials and employee/freelance work that we have already committed to in good faith of the event going ahead.
7.5. If you are looking to change your event date rather than cancel, please refer to section 1.4 of this document

We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 & subsequent revisions thereof). We collect information about you for two reasons: to organise your event and to provide you with the best possible service.
We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing e-mails from us or from any other third-party companies in the future.

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date.
